About
this guy...John L. Kachelman
III was raised in a Christian home by his parents John and Jennifer.
He first started helping organize youth activities when he was in
high school in Elizabethtown, KY. After he graduated high
school in 1997, John went to Freed-Hardeman University and worked
toward a Bachelor's degree in Bible and Accounting.
During the summers, John worked with the
Northside church of Christ in Mayfield, KY. After he
graduated from college in May 2001, he worked with the Great Oaks
church of Christ in Memphis, TN until he started law school in
Birmingham, AL in August of 2001. Although John was in law
school, he worked closely with the youth program at the Hoover
church of Christ as a chaperone, Bible class teacher and
encourager for the teens at Hoover.
John has a zeal to teach the Bible, and
he has taught numerous classes at church camps and at the
congregations he has worked. He has also been asked to speak
at youth rallies for teenagers in the Southeast.
Although he has not continued full-time
work with teenagers, he is always interested in helping them in any
way to grow closer to God and their Christian family.
Christian growth is the only growth that will matter at the end of
our lives, so he wants to do all he can to encourage and challenge
others to walk that narrow path to heaven.
